Become a Scout

You can become a member of Scouting at any age starting from 5 and a half to 6 year old up to 8 as a Beaver.
7  and a half to 10 and a half as a Cub Scout and from 10 to 14 and a half as a Scout.
14 to 18 are Explorer Scouts and Network is till you are 25 year olds.

Become an adult helper, by volunteering with us.

We are always looking for Adult help as Occasional Helpers and Assistant Section Leaders to assist in the running of an extensive program.
We need people who like seeing children of all ages grow in Knowledge, Confidence and Leadership.
You can be involved behind the scenes by assisting with driving children to camps, events and trips, also directly teaching skills from diy to cooking, photography to astronomy. Don't be frightened as a team we support you with training and you are never on your own with a support backing of thousands of other volunteers worldwide.
DBS Checks will be required to be carried out in order to work or volunteer with children in the UK by law.
